Extraordinary teachers teach our classes, all cherry-picked by our founder because of their dedication to their chosen discipline. Whether you attend classes by Emily, Sara, Smita or Hannah, these women are all truly committed to helping you become more flexible, manage stress & and improve your sense of well-being.
Vinyasa Flow Yoga
Vinyasa Flow is an energising and dynamic yoga practice. We welcome all experience and yoga levels, but it’s helpful to have done some yoga before. Movements are practised in a flow for a challenging workout.
Our Teacher Emily aims to empower and inspire, giving as much heart and knowledge as possible to help people along in their own yoga journey. Through her practice, she has learned we can live a healthy, happy, balanced life by giving ourselves self-care, love, and compassion.
Yoga Flow
Anyone and everyone is welcome in this class.
This flow offers strength, flexibility, concentration, breathwork, and often some form of meditation, which makes it a great starting point for beginners.
Hatha Yoga
Hatha yoga classes are inclusive of all abilities and accessible to everyone. All classes include a focus on breathing, mindful movement and an opportunity to relax and let go. Classes typically start with a gentle warm-up advancing to more physical poses and end with a short meditation – benefiting mind, body and general well-being.
Restorative Yin Yoga
The class is a slowed down yoga sequence of restorative movements and Yin postures accompanied by relaxing soft music – enabling you to turn off the noisy mind and tune into what you need. This is explored via the connection with your body and breath. The practice uses the support of bolsters, blocks and props to allow the body to release if needed, accessing any deeper layers of tension and stress build-up. These specific postures activate the parasympathetic nervous system, disabling stress responses that sometimes leave us feeling burnt out or drained.
Our teacher Hannah leads this class. Gentle movement, visualisation and guided meditation are all vital components. We have purposely scheduled this session on a Sunday evening to focus less on doing, and more on being. Minimal effort for maximum relaxation – to feel good closing the old week and seeing in the new.
Guided meditation
Not on the timetable at present
There is much evidence that meditation helps manage stress, helping us reset and aid our sense of well-being and connection. New research also suggests that meditation can help with both mind and body.
Proud Mama! Pre & Postnatal Yoga
Not on the timetable at present
These classes focus on breathing and strengthening the pelvic floor, using movement to enable women to prepare their bodies and mind for a positive pregnancy and aid their postnatal recovery. No previous experience of yoga is necessary.
Postnatal classes run in blocks to help you get the most out of them.
As with any exercise after birth, we advise you to get the all-clear from your doctor before starting our classes.
