MEN’S PILATES

Pilates is often considered as being only for women. This couldn’t be further from the truth. It is increasingly being added as part of exercise routines and used as a recovery treatment tool for sportsmen; Andy Murray and Anthony Joshua, to name a couple. In addition to this, more weight trainers are turning to Pilates to increase muscle power and flexibility.

Pilates is very versatile, and the benefits from it are very rewarding.

If you play football, enjoy running or frequently visit the gym, inadequate warm ups or stretching can lead to tight muscles, which increases the risk of injuries. Even your day to day activities, such as sitting all day at a desk job, or lifting and carrying children can lead to muscle stiffness.

At Beyond Move, we want to encourage more men to do Pilates to strengthen their core, improve flexibility, as well as improve their posture and concentration.

We want to help you reset your body alignment by working on your back, neck and shoulder, hips and pelvis. We want you to leave each session feeling more in balance, more comfortable, and able to perform better in your other physical and day to day activities.

Whatever your reason to consider Pilates, don’t feel shy, and get in touch to find out more, or to book your place in our Men’s Pilates class!
